Great game. Real Giants vs Devils. However, that call on Besko, especially the fact that it was in OT, is a bit of a bad call. He tries to poke check the puck and goes to pull the stick back and then Waller falls over it. It’s a difficult one.

Absolutely cannot blame him for the outcome. The Devils were a much better team last night. They made fast tape to tape passes which the Giants struggled to do. The Giants struggled to make good breakouts and were often left isolated when they did enter the Devils zone. The devils found ways to skate right down the middle of the ice while they kept the Giants to the outside. The Devils created so many more breakaway opportunities that they didn’t convert, thanks to Besko’s shot stopping. The score did not reflect how much better the Devils were in this game.
