"garbage" "need to get better" "find some consistency" "that's the problem" These are some of the popular comments. Was this game played differently than the one UConn played against Texas, or NC State, or UCLA? Of course it was. How many games are there between now and March? Think there will be some more improvement? Come on, UConn fans.... show some backbone, some trust, some commitment... And some will say, "Just being real." Of course you are, for 9 games into the season, and you're looking for end of season level of play.

Paige Bueckers was incredible on defense! I know scoring is easy for her, but I was impressed with those 2 blocks she made.

Paige was outstanding, Muhl was on the threes, Edwards was the Supreme Allied Commander. Talk about great court generalship. She really looked great today.

Thats the problem they're too reliant on Paige. However, they don't have much choice. Uconn needs big seasons out of ALL of their freshman. That rately happens. Just hope they can be healthy next year and Paige decides to come back. This is not a championship team or a FF team.

⁠⁠@@anthonyyusef5897It's early December. If AE can learn to the catch and if she and AG can make layups, they'll be much better. Shade and KK are getting better all the time and playing small can be an advantage if they keep up the D pressure. Clearly they need to cut down on TOs and work harder for rebounds, but that'll come. Any team with PB and and AE and AG if they play well will compete.

There were glimmers of good ball movement for UCONN this game. Now they just need to find some consistency. I like that Ashyn Shade as a safety valve when others drive to the basket. It goes without saying that Paige is incredible.

Nice win, but it’s clear UConn’s best hope this year are trophies in conference play. I don’t think they’re close to being a final four team. And God forbid Paige gets hurt. That would be grounds to suspend the program and cancel the rest of the season. Makes you wonder if this year will push Beuckers out of she doesn’t think they’re title contenders.

Yeah that was such a letdown. You could literally hear her yell “Aaliyah!!??” and throw her arms up. I felt her frustration.

Huge improvement! Always and forever proud of this team! Hoping this is staying forever with multiple players stepping up. The freshmen are absolutely fantastic and everyone had a huge role tonight not just scoring wise but also defensively. Love to see it, never doubted this team 🤍

@@anthonytaylor7928 the uconn freshmen are the best group. The other freshmen have no help from their other fellow freshmen, mikayla, juju, hannah, and taliyah Scott basically do everything for their teams. I’m mainly referring to this freshmen as a group

Much better game on the offensive end. Still too small, but this lineup and rotations can be effective enough to get them past most teams that are not in the top 10.

Decent game but still had some stagnate offense rotation which allowed UNC to come back. We really need to get better at moving without the ball 🙏🏼

When a team makes a run, it really seems the refs start to make bs calls so the game dont get out of hand, and some of the calls were outright ridiculous against the huskies

@@byronphillips1119 ...you make a great point there, I think paige and Catlin...could be as helpful as magic and bird were to the nba. I think uconn...is just heavy media on them...., the rest of the team bores me....Iowa seems to be running on all cylinders, and Catlin on offense is smart and quick. Right now/ today and tomorrow..Paige is handling her self with class. I never thought I'd be into women s hoops. But 2day game....especially nba...I'd pure garbage. On a side note Diana turiusi....was just too good, too scary...these last couple of years...sorry I drift and go off a bit...I absolutely love college basketball

Sorry, I don't see your point. This is a channel presented by UConn; it's UConn highlights. Watch any other school's athletic department highlights of their team, and what will they show - their team's highlights. Again, maybe you won't watch this channel any more, but the channel is true to itself.

@@wda2478 don’t start comparing, nika was a backup point guard in that game. No one was talking about the achievements of other point guards, a three is a three regardless. The game went well, let’s not forget she was one of the reasons uconn was able to keep up with a decent record last season. Y’all hating over anything, yes her turnovers are high but guess what? That’s the thing every point guard shares. it’s expected and happens way more than you think, specially if you led the country in assists at some point are get creative with your passes. She’s improving and blending in with the team, a new uconn team.
