I'm not a fan of USA rugby, but the U.S. does have the money and a big population to be competitive at 15s. That, I cannot deny. It's only a matter of time. How far they will go at 15s, I do not know, but they can be competitive at 15s because they have what it takes to develop.

@@BigBlack81 Those same folks forget that only 4 teams have ever won the Series. NZ, Fiji, Sth. Africa and Samoa. Samoa is interesting team, rebuilding their whole 7's program under Titjens. A lot of bullshit calls during that NZ game. US should have lost but even tho the us player had taken the ball out of the ruck during the last phase and got slammed by the NZ defence losing possession. Then the reff called the most bullshit call ever saying that the ball hadnt been taken into play. NZ player was carded and the us won with a handful more badcalls. This is the problem with us rugby. They are so desperate to grow it in the states they are prepared to handfeed wins to the us team which in the long run will hurt us rugby. US does not support the culture. They never have and they never will. Tis why theyll never make it in 15's and the bigger world stage. Great job to both NZ and England that tournament.

Well instead of watching it with ONE eye, open the other and you will see that Samoan's in particular will late hit a player who has scored against them-- the try was scored yet he still late hit the player on the ground. Its just the way they play, mostly late and dirty.
@osvaldogarcia77005 жыл бұрын
@@greyhamlogan2255 Instead of seeing iT WITH ONE EYE, understand that the player had been chasing him the past couple of seconds and still thought he had a chance to knock the ball out of his hand? I'm going to take a wild guess and assume you're new to rugby OR AMERICAN. It does not matter how close someone is to scoring, YOU NEVER LET THEM GET OFF EASY. TRY TIL THE VERY END. Guess Americans (especially those who plays 7s) are used to just making a bit of a charade before they score and not getting tackled in return? Sorry, this isn't the NFL. Americans have a very bad rep of encouraging celebrations for themselves and from other teams who would otherwise never do so.
