Congratulations Ireland; well played. It's sad in a way that WI are losing to countries like Ireland. I was born in England in the 1950s. Our heroes as kids were the WI teams of the 60s. I had the names of the whole team written on my bat when I was about ten years old, names like Sobers, Gibbs, Hall, Griffith, Kanhai etc. Then we watched the WI through the last decades of the 20th century with their brilliant fast bowlers and top flight batsmen. As I say, it's painful to see them lose to Ireland even though Ireland now have test status.

Because they're almost an old team, still i'll say fatherly, OK, they're a little bit progressing, again because they're in own soil. But they've power, energy, good fielding players because of their fitness, they'll learn faster in t20. Odi is tougher game you know. These kind of counties, they stroke more like to play six, and this is the problem like west indies is still learning in odi format. I will say at last, this decade Afghanistan is the Most progressive and learned team in the world.

India are going to tour england and 1 remainder of a test match is also included there along with white ball series but bcci should organise a test series of 2 matches against ireland. This series just shows how serious West Indies is about their cricket and how much they want to win. I think it is time Pollard retire from captaincy and as well as the coaches. I always say If you are a Guyanes and of Indian decent it is hard to play for West Indies. Why is Greaves playing? Chanderpaul Hemraj is a way better player. Why did Gudakesh Motie not get to play the last game? Ireland in last 3 odi series against decorated teams: lost a close 2-1 against england in england, drew against south africa(the same team which defeated india recently), won 2-1 against west indies. Unfortunately no Irish player got a chance to play in IPL as a full timer, since its inception. For once franchisers pick players from Netherlands, Nepal Afghanistan but Not Ireland. They wasted a great Irish legend Kevin O'brien/Paul Stirling when Irelands was in their prime in 2011-12. Even after getting Test status in 2017 these talented player was ignored. Now its high time after 11 long years, the new franchises could pick any one or two Irish player like Stirling or Tector.
