Great battling performance from a patched up side giving everything . Exactly what we wanted after the Wigin debacle. Anyone who didnt enjoy that needs to not bother coming again . Fans were outstanding !

Good point and all the team fought for it. I.m.o. thought forrester was our best player and the makeshift defence did well against a good Wycombe team.we do need to score goals though and I didn't think Charles or mcAtee contributed much when they came on as subs. Although we have a number of options in attack I don't think any of them are good enough or consistent enough. If the funds are available in the January transfer window I would sign a decent striker who can score those half chances that are being wasted at the moment. We need quality not quantity up front.

Forwards are good enough it's that they usually don't get any supply due to Evatts tactics, we hardly put a cross in just pass it back or sideways and also very rarely hit teams on the break instead do 50 passes which lets all their defenders get back. Just need Morley and Dempsey back in the middle and maybe get a new centre back and start playing more direct if behind or drawing.
