firts of all, the guitar looks amazing. no bull, stright design, perfect lines. The wood is amazing also. And the finish is very nice, and simple. WOuld love to play this beauty.

This is one really nice looking Guitar. Great Job. I have always wanted to learn how to play but I am 53 now and my fingers don't move like they once did. Nor do I have the budget to start now. Being on disability it does not give me any extra income to spend. One of my biggest regrets is not learning when I was a lot younger.

I absolutely love what you have built - it looks fantastic. I'm not sure that I share your enthusiasm for meranti however. My experience with it would suggest it varies enormously both in colour, density and quality. You clearly have used some higher end pieces but I have seen plenty of pieces that were rubbish. I also understand that it's a rain forest timber which is frowned on here in Australia. I would love to see what you could do with some Australian timbers although the eucalyptus timbers tend to be rather heavy.

Hi...new subscriber here...love to watch a craftsman build his project...thank you! One suggestion if I may...the signature "Highline" on the rear cover...you need to put decal of that on the front of the headstock...your work seems too good not to have that logo displayed as an additional marketing tool....👍

Hey Chris love the guitar I have a question and while I have searched through your videos and other you tube vids I cannot find a answer. I am finishing guitars as a side gig for Lynn Ellsworth (Boogie Bodies) Lynn likes a natural finish on top with a painted back. This has proven to be a huge problem for me. Is there a way to do this without having a obvious line between the paint and the stain, maybe a way to blend them.
@HighlineGuitars2 жыл бұрын
Apply the paint with a high end airbrush, like an Iwata. Using a big spray gun lays on the paint too thick.

@@HighlineGuitars I'm, not sure if you are reacting to my comment or not when I wrote... Watching a CNC manufacture a guitar is not as interesting as watching one being hand made with minimal tools. Chris, I think you should stop using double Dutch language as I don't really understand what you mean and I don't really think you know what you mean.
