A few years ago, on the global day of prayer for the persecuted church, we held a service where there was no heating, no musical instruments, no Bibles and no song books. We just came as we were. All songs were acapella, and all scripture was recited from memory. It was an amazing time and it made us appreciate things much more.

I am drawn close to heaven when I listen to such music. It tells me the heavenly choir during the 1000 years of celestial experience by the saints of God would be a reality.
