very good content Eric. nice and instructive for those of us who play amateur level to see how you elite players play the game. sadly not too shocked but 2 of your opponents have since had their accounts banned for violating terms of service, so well done to lichess for taking the action against those accounts.

57:17 nxe4 for center fork trick getting the bishop pair? I dont play e5 so idk if it works here lol Edit: it doesnt work, nxe4 rxe4 d5 Bxd5 qxd5 and then what i missed was here the rook and knight are attacking e5 so after nc3 you lose the pawn and youre just a clean pawn down. Also even better than nxe4 rxe4 is the immediate d4, because its the same as the previous line but up a tempo for white

Not taking the bishop that checked you when you had a stafford like attack against his Italian happens all the time for me when I play the stafford. That bishop move is their last ditch to save a lost position.
