I love this song and performance. And I have been a fan of Måns ever since he was a contestant on Swedish Idol. 🇸🇪♥️🇸🇪 Since he won ESC in 2015 Sweden hosted the show in 2016 and Måns was the host together with Petra. I dare say they are among the best hosts ever.

I didn't know he was a contestant on one of those types of shows but he's in a good company - the last three winners were two plus the third placer and jury winner this year who was actually on two and this year's Swedish contestant who actually sang Rise Like a Phoenix on Swedish Idol.

Yay!!! This is one of my ESC favourites. The song is great, the performance is amazing and Måns is quite easy on eyes. 😅 From Måns I could recommend On My Way, Walk With Me (I like the performance with Dami Im, you should also check out her ESC song Sound of Silence) and Mirror, for example....

If you ever plan to do a full Eurovision reaction, like everything from start to finish, with semifinals, interval acts and the whole shebang, I recommend 2016. It has Måns Zelmerlöw and Petra Mede as hosts, Lynda Woodroof, Justin Timberlake, Love Love Peace Peace, so much great humor, and so many amazing performances from the Eurovision artists. You won´t regret it. Invite some friends over, it will take several hours, so bring a lot of drinks and snacks, and food. Eurovision is a party.

Please watch love love Peace peace. Its funny and makes fun of eurovision. Its from the year after this one when Måns was hosting together with Petra Mede. They were both great hosts. Brilliant, thats why you keep seeing Måns in eurovision context no matter which country is hosting, they always bring him on somehow since he won with Heroes and hosted uerovision in swedne the year after that. I think most people in europe just loves him because he seems like a genuinlly nice guy aswell.

Great song and performance. I don't think the projections are visible for the people in the audience, but only for the viewers at home. It was the same with the projection of the Erasmus bridge in the "music binds us" interval act of 2021.

During this performance it was a wall of led light panels so everybody even the crowd could see them. After 1:46 you can see a large round panel when the camera zooms out.

The American dance group Freckled Sky used the same kind of interactive background in their America's Got Talent audition that same year (2015). They added water effects as well and had the judges and audience mesmerized. You should check that out. Also if you want to react to cool Eurovision songs, I recommend the 2012 and 2023 winning songs Euphoria, and Tattoo. Both were sung by Swedish artist Loreen, making her the first, and only, female solo artist to win the competition more than once, as well as giving Sweden its 5th and 7th wins in total (the 6th win was the song you just reacted to). This put Sweden at a tie with Ireland for most wins. Ireland is also the only country that has had two wins by the same male solo artist, Johnny Logan, in 1980 and 1987.

And there was a screen behind Måns that showed the animation. The audience could see it. A lot of the acts in 2021 used green screen and if you take a look at a compilation with that it looks pretty silly. Great for TV but I would have been super annoyed watching that live.

Fu fact the swedish mellodifestivalen version of this was a bit different instead of ehite lights it was blue and the little figureine had a pointy hat and different design Also idk where but at some point he had an umbrella instead of a baloon. Please ceck eric saade popular BUT it has to be the swedish mellodifestivalen one. Because he wasnt alowed to use his climax number in eurovision because it involved crossing glas.... but it was alowed in the swedish version because then he had the last performance spot so no one could step on the glass afterwards.

It's not a surprise that he won Eurovision Song Contest that year! No other could keep up with that performance! I actually watched the Swedish try-out, (Melodifestivalen) that year (I usually don't). But it wasn't because of Måns Zelmerlöw... It was the first runner up, Jon Henrik Fjällgren, that caught me by surprise! It's not that common that contesters come from the native population (compareble to American natives) and also perform with their own music/chanting. This guy did it in such a beautiful way that it's insane! It's not a surprise that he won "Sweden's got Talent" the year before.
