Good result! A straight six sounds so good! Talking about valeting have you tried a can of tyre foam cleaner to clean the engine bay? Warm the engine a few minutes switch off then spray the entire engine bay including engine. Use all the can around £5 for a tin. Then close the bonnet. The next day open the bonnet and be prepared to be amazed! As the spray is designed for cleaning rubber tyres all the rubber piping gets conditioned and becomes shiny new. Just try it !

Matt, what about all the water coming in? That amount of damp - mouldy seat belts etc, ain't going to get better by itself!

That's what I thought. The car was soaking wet! And that ill fitting front bumper. Alarm bells

Please explain why "auto" lights are great? Drivers should use dipped in rain etc and auto lights don't always come on so it would appear you are driving without insurance! Someone out there correct me but last time I read the construction and use act / highway code if you use wipers then dip lights are required. This gives the insurance companies an out knowing how Imsorry BUT out to not pay.... 🧐

I bought a Z4 3.0si Auto ( facelift model ) just to go to the Le Man 24Hr six years ago .. Super smooth engined car .Same wheels , one had a crack ( common ) so swapped for CSL reps . Durham Dave moved the roof motor .

BLoody hell Matt, the prices paid for cars in the UK is so different. A BMW Z4 2004 year with 288,000klm (auto) here in Australia is $8900! Even with our crap exchange rate that is still more than twice what you sold that car for. They are a good looking car but repairs here in Oz are ridiculous. I import all my MGF and MGTF and Skoda parts and even with freight I see savings of over 50%.

I've had all iterations of the Z4 and currently have a 20 reg MSport 30i - I love 'em! You should have kept it - like you said, a lot of car for less than 1600 quid! :)

Another great vid Matt. It was the grin when you put your foot down! If a car can do that to you, buy it or get another....just for fun...you only live once....
