After the next election season see if you can collect some of the signs. The corrugated plastic (coroplast) makes great sillywett decoys. A couple cans of spray paint and some simple stencils and you can knock out a bunch for geese, ducks and doves quickly. One tip for doves, if you are hunting picked grain fields make some pigeon decoys. Doves are use to sitting with them and they show up better from a distance. I have even made some white ones.

I've been looking at doing some out of corrugated plastic though cardboard is cheaper and works as well. But haven't tried it yet. But it'd be a great project if you have kids that can help that may go with you make them feel more of a part of the hunt. And for the price can't beat it.

I thought about the plastic. Wasn't sure how well the paint would stick on it though. I'm sure something would on it

@@HighPrairieSportsmen ya not sure that paint would. Though something likely would. Not sure what type of paint besides spray paint right off. ofcourse spray paint wouldn't be easy to get detail unless you made stencils.

I use corrugated plastic and a a wire to add wings to my 3d plastic decoys. I slighty heat the wings to create a sort of helix so that then rotate with the wind.
