Nice looking Woodie . I got the Drakes between Saturday and Sunday have them soaking in the Fridge . going to do some Woody and Bacon Wrapped Poppers with Jalapeno strips . Enjoyed it Matt

Had three drake woodies last Tuesday. Plus a drake mallard. One hour hunt before heading back to work. Warm weather might have been a factor. Wood ducks are songbirds in waterfowl world. Excellent eating there, Matt.

And another thing is sometimes I can't just walk out and get my ducks or place decoys, we have lots and lots of alligators 😂😂🤦. Soon to hog hunt also, included are bears, panthers, rattlesnakes, and pythons. Hahaha I'm not in Michigan anymore obviously. 😂😂

It's the latest drake I've gotten. I got a hen a few years ago in December. But typically they're gone by early November at the latest.
