@@lepickle4415 The people in the doorway were very rude and annoying, trying to make you stay at their particular hotel. All the workers at the stalls were pleasant and kept to themselves. The hotel staff were alright, the room itself isn't the worst I've stayed in. The building as a whole was fascinating, sort of like a watered-down version of how I imagined Kowloon Walled City to be

Do ignore the Chinese nationalist (or wumao) above, he’s entitled to his own opinion but doesn’t represent the majority of HK people. You are definitely welcome to HK whenever this virus dies down, though I would advise you to stay vigilant; a gang of 40 people just beat up 4 citizens that were posting posters regarding the movement. And guess what, instead of arresting the assaulters, the hkpd arrested the 4 victims under illegal assembly, absolutely ridiculous.

I stumbled across this video and it's interesting to see the perspective of a tourist as I am from and lived in Hong Kong for my entire life. In all honesty, most of the places you mentioned are places I have never even stepped foot in, especially the ChungKing mansion. It is also super cool to see HK from a couple years back, with protests that have majorly affected our lives and the coronavirus, it has taken a massive toll on Hong Kong. Us student haven't been in school since January but luckily our cases are dying down and most places have reopened. Once this pandemic is over and if you do return to HK, I recommend going to Ocean Park, its an amusement park with a mixture of sea life, animals and also fun and thrilling rides. Also, the street food in Causeway Bay and Mongkok are iconic and delicious and for sure a must-try. Anyways, hope you guys are safe and healthy and thank you for this beautifully made video!

hong kong is very strange - the new, old and the natural blend into one because they have too many mountainous terrains that can't be built on, and the old includes old buidings from the far past till today. the new is just as uncertain. but that's the beauty of hong kong. it's beautiful in its own bizarre way. going once lets you see the city from the tourist view. but going twice or more allows you to see even more than just a tourist view. you get to see it from the perspective of a citizen. it is so weird to see the new world blend with the traditional, but hong kong prides itself on that.
