You see this in the form of racing, hill climbs and endurance. All video of this powerwheel has been on hard packed surfaces for a few minutes at most, jumps are done downhill, and there is a strong following. They regurgitate the same ev propaganda I've heard for almost 50 years now. Nobody is certifying the manufacturers claims. The KZbin shills hoping to get a good deal on one of these electric toys, will say or do anything for clicks except show a fair comparison. Please consider the taxpayers who are unwillingly taking part in these purchases. And make sure to save for the $7,000 + tax and ship replacement battery.

I’ve been playing with an offroad EV race truck for a couple years. One thing I learned early is to set up your charging generator/station a good distance away from where everyone will be hanging out all day. Also make sure the generator exhaust is pointing away from people hanging out as best ya can. Helps to make offroad EVs suck less

Elektrik Throttle is normally constructed that way that if it fails it won’t give any input so there should be not such a thing like stuck throttle unless it’s mechanically an the turning mechanism

Yes but how much is a new KTM 450? Then add in all the replacement parts for rebuilds over 5 years, 100 octane fuel that cost $10 per gallon here, oil at $10 quart for good stuff, airfilter cleaning every ride the time for all that. I look at maintenance time as lost time from my family, for me what I get paid per hr and add up weekly maintenance it comes to over $90 per week and I ride 8-9 months per year. That adds up plus parts for these expensive 4t bikes. In 2 years the ROI for me for a Stark comes out ahead.

Why would you want a clutch that’s one of the main advantages. They even run Hard Enduro without issue. Some Trials variants have a clutch but that’s really the only outside condition. Most ICE riders use the clutch way too much as it is already

This is the equivalent of a 12000 bucks up for grabs. All I want is the right to record the outcome and make a video for KZbin for my other channel. If I win I don't want anything, not trying to take someone's bike. I have been trying for almost 2 years and have been unable to talk anyone into making this short trip up here for a real world electric comparison. The place is called "big horn park" it's amazing, like I said the guest cabin will be extended along with a friendly environment, I love all motorcyclists. Just because I disagree with them on the electric bike does not mean we are worlds apart. We could spend the weekend racing and testing, While spending the evenings enjoying Colorado's perks around the fireplace. I look forward to the day an electric bike outpaces my xc's, but I see no sign of that happening. Oh I almost forgot i have 2 champion 4500 W inverter generators with parallel connect. So we can charge at the blm land. I'll even supply the fuel.

In reality you would need a battery capable of 80000 W to realistically support 80 hp, Using the maximum discharge rating quickly shortens a cell's life or ends in flames. I need the spec sheet from the battery not your wild claims. I've got a lipo (far superior power density and c ratings due to huge surface area of these envelop style cells) sitting right here that says 150 C on it, yes it's advertised as that, but what would happen if I applied a load of 150 C? (Aka like 20,000 watts) It would go up and smoke after the conductors lit up like the filament of a light bulb. Now if I look at the spec sheet provided from the manufacturer it lists the limitations of the c rating. It's quite shocking those ratings are generally for about 1 second, but again there's no certification, so don't hold your breath that you'll even get that much power. The Stark bike feels quick because of its gear reduction box. But like all electric vehicles this initial punch quickly runs out and the roll on performance is miserable. Notice how Stark gives horsepower rating at the motor but torque at the rear wheel? This is because he's using the highest possible measurement methods for each. Not advertising sustained horse power, and they are using geared torque #'s. This is scommy advertising and suggest this company will not be around long once the people realize the reality of a $13,000 power wheel. 80 rwhp would require even more battery to make up for the losses. Every single advertisement for this bike is misleading and over-inflated without proof. KZbin is showing packs of electric dirt bikes riding around together or a single electric bike on a hard packed bmx style track is hardly proof of its abilities. It seems like every jump is done down hill with these things. I look forward to seeing these in a Hill climb muddy conditions or other real world conditions other than hard packed park land or BMX trails. They get away with these wild claims because none of these are certified by anyone. It's the Wild Wild West of battery advertising days. Other guys here are telling me you can pull over a 150 watts from one of these little cells, that is insane imagine one little tiny cell powering a big hot 150 W incandescent light bulb, It's not happening.. Now, one of those cells will light up an 80 W "equivalent" which is what we're seeing here, made up equivalent numbers. Stark cannot compete pound for pound with ice, so they have to use misleading advertising and KZbin shills to push the product. A real comparison would be taking that power wheel to the local quarter mile and racing the local ice bikes. Followed by a trip over to the dynamometer for a back-to-back comparison with witnesses and other bikes as a control. Without this we're getting nothing but wild claims to boost pre-order sales of a unbelievably ugly and plastic looking bike. $7000 for a replacement battery that has a shelf life, no matter how carefully you wipe it down every night in your living room, it's degrading. In just a few years you will be looking at a $7000 battery replacement, Assuming lithium prices haven't skyrocketed more than they have.
