Geez. This has me smiling. I've listened to it over and over. I feel like I'm late to the party, finding the videos by these two 8-15 years after they were made. Fabulous playing. Well, I can see that I’m really late to this party but my small band are undertaking to play this and I needed to see how some other groups do it. Whoa-a-a!!! John is setting his Tele on fire 🔥 and then David starts throwing gas on it...what an awesome combo. I’m sad to note that John has since passed because very few guitarists have ever brought a smile to my face with their exceptional playing...but both J. & D. had me grinning. R.I.P. John....and thank you for posting this gem, David.

I could listen to these two guys all night. Such a shame that John is no longer here. I love Dave's skill on the pedal steel guitar, but on this track, John really gets a chance to show his skill. If ever two musicians were born to perfom together it's Dave and John. I don't know how many 'takes' this took, but it's easy to see by the big grin on John's face and the thumbs up, that he knew they'd got it spot on. 👍 Absolute perfection.

Awesome stuff!!! It's always good to see and hear folks making music come alive like this. I used to be a lead singer in a small country band but had an accident in 2010 that left my voice totally changed and I am now unable to hit the notes like I used to. I still try but it's just not the same. Watching these two just gets my blood pumping and it brings back some really good old memories. Thanks so much for these guys, even if they've left us. What a lot of fun and blessings they are for those of us who still appreciate our heritage.
