I have been driving for past 18 years on highway . Few tips for safe drive on highway Seat belt is strict must . Always drive on middle lane It will also give you time to react if any vehicle from opposite direction jumps the divider. For Roads with no divider, always turn on the headlamps. And Avoid driving post midnight and early mornings. And above all, start your day or driving by praying to almighty to let you have a safe and happy journey.. 🙏

Hi viewers , We witnessed this unfortunate incident during our journey towards Satara( pune-bangalore Highway ). The Right Front Wheel of the S.U.V collapsed with the faulty concrete divider. CAUSE : Since the driver was driving extreme right to overtake others+ the extended & faulty concrete Divider. CONSEQUENCE : The Car flipped 15 ft in air towards the left lane after front right wheel broke off the axle upon divider impact. RESPONSE : We could not open the driver side door of the Car as it got jammed due to impact and had to QUICKLY flip / topple the car to get the survivors out before they suffocate. RESULTS : They all escpaed alive without ANY major injuries. AIR BAG DEPLOYED since driver was wearing seatbelt. TAKING OWNERSHIP : Since i saw everything unfolding infront of my eyes, I remembered the broken wheel and hence did not wasted time to remove it. LEARNINGS : DONT DRIVE TOO EXTREME TOWARDS CORNERS. HAVE A DEFENSIVE APPROCH DONT LOOSE FOCUS ! I think In A Country like Us, Sometimes You have to behave like a self appointed COP and just do the duty. ! VANDE MATRAM ! I had an accident with minimal speed of 50 last year. It was brezza. thank God nothing happened to any of the 5 passenger . airbag saved me n my co passenger. I was thinking if accident can happen with 50 speed why to drive above 60 man. that was a learning experience n now I make not to drive above 60 or 70 on highway.

I am heavy owner cum driver...we were always taught to stick to the left of the lane when situation permits...btw i was trained by ashok leyland....even volvo teaches this to its drivers in india.

On highways in India people don't know where they should drive when they r driving slow. Some old days driver while being slow keep to the left and new ones towards right in this situation overtaking is such a confusion

Inspite of lane markings and huge sign boards along the highway saying "heavy vehicles stay on left lane" does not even bother the drivers of heavy vehicles. Indian traffic sense is literally zero because no one seems to know highway etiquette!!! The worst of the bird-brained drivers are the govt bus drivers. They weave in and out of lane overtaking at high speed. Moreover, when they're behind you you can be sure that they will squeeze every ounce of meat left in their horns. Quite uncivilized and irritating!!! The other people are the bikers. They ride as though they're racing on a track. They overtake from the left side too! The only "stunt" they know mostly is the swaying of their bikes to the right and then to the left while overtaking vehicles at very high speed. The icing on the cake is in the fact that most of these squids ride with no helmet at all. Even if they have no regards for their lives, there are people who really value this life. These squids mostly end up falling or crashing into other vehicles! The written laws are everywhere but can it be illiteracy that is responsible for the drivers not understanding instructions on the sign boards? The so called police are also just mere spectators. They have no power to do virtually anything that is in their duties! They're just a corrupted and uniformed group of bird brained people looking to make a quick buck or two. No wonder India is a third world nation and it is going to stay that way for the next 20-30 years from now! It is also called a land of open defecators!
