Most Police/ State Troopers are not DOT inspectors certified. The ones that do inspections are part of a small unit usually traffic unit.

The summer heat you guys get is what is hard on your battery. It just shows up when it gets cold out. I live in Wisconsin and my batteries in my vehicles always last 7 to 8 years, the only exception was one that developed a bad cell after a couple years and I got that one replaced for free under warranty. We are talking about over a 50 year period.

What they are probably taking about is the White fmca annual inspection sticker that is required annually which is a level 1 inspection any truck shop could do.If they require a state one your state motor Carrier Division could do it I'm a retired trucker with over 30 years experience.

If they force you to get another ELD, charge them a premium on each load to pay for it. Put it back on them. We use Ditat and Samsara.

Another great video. Last video you mentioned your trailer is approaching 10 years old. Can you discuss on an upcoming video how some shippers require 10 year or newer trailer. Will you sell your 10 year old trailer for a newer? Mention strategies that if you own a trailer, ideal to set money each month for future trailer replacement?

Very few shippers ask if your trailer is 10 years or older, mostly paper loads or food grade stuff sometimes and they never checked. They just ask you, but I might buy a newer one and then have two extras.

My wife’s 2018 Dodge Journey’s battery you have to remove the driver front tire, bottom fender skirt and plastic push pins in order to replace it!!! Freaking terrible and $239.00 for the battery doesn’t help the situation lol but glad you got T-Dubs all fixed up.

Got the same car with the V6. Costco sells interstate batteries for 115 bucks. 3 year full warranty. Well worth it. Take some of the installation pain away😅

cold kill batteries, so does remote starts and alarms. 3rd battery since owning truck 6 years. swear by those scents and even have them seasonally. it helps see at night, have a snow globe 1 with an old truck.

Justin i think the type of inspection they are requiring is one from Loves, Ta or one of those places does not an actual dot officer level one inspection thats what most of the big carriers requires if your least on to them... some insurance companies requires one every quarter too but not only you but alot of Truckers thinks that you have to get inspection by a DOT Officer which is not the case and maybe the last thing you want to do cause if something is wrong its going to come with tickets and fines...

No, they want a roadside inspection from a DOT officer. The point is that there are fraudulent carriers working as shell companies that don’t actually have any trucks on the road. They insure a small car or old inoperable parts truck just to stay active. They do this to double broker loads. A roadside inspection verifies that a truck has actually been spotted on the road.

You can weigh and reweight at any cat scale within 24 hours. just so you know. Just need the same truck and trailer combo. usually have a number on the bottom left or right. the app is fast, you can get a digital version sent to your email and shows on the app. depends on your situation. digital app is definitely faster for reefer/ dry van. Tanker it takes a while.

I had a Cadillac XTS and same thing on the battery about every 3 years and a bear to get it out I usually just went to the local interstate dealer and had them change it. Loved that car though like they say rode like a cadillac. As for the inspections fmcsa requires periodic inspections the last carrier I was leased to made us do one every 3 months at their location so you being the carrier you may be able do your own inspections I don't know about that.

Kid's went back to school Monday and Austin and Cash and Jesse said that a teacher was not in and the school wasn't happy about it. I heard what actually happened and I was like oh hell no not in the school and Jesse and other's at work was laughing so hard. My grandma was like that's disgusting. He sold it over the Christmas Holiday and I was like why and he said I was offered (Amount) Nana asked him if he's going to customize it has a lowrider and he said no. It will look like Maggie's Camaro IROC with t-tops. Justin's has t-tops also it need's a new exhaust and it will get one possible tomorrow afternoon after school or later in the week. It's in excellent condition. Jesse was like huh seeing it and he was like who's Camaro is this. And Justin said mine and he said how much he was offered for his S-10. Justina traded her VW Bug for a 2010 Camaro IROC just like your's Katie. Except it's white really nice. Our neighbor's Daisy and Gigi was like huh who's getting a Camaro next Cash said not him he's keeping his 1985 Chevy Silverado Short Bed. It's loud and fast. Jesse is going to hate this. Cash beat Jesse in the burnout contest. The kid's and us are hoping it snows good here to go tubiydiwn hills and snowboarding.
