I love the vibes in this video. You can tell they knew they had a banger in the making! Love everything from the fellowship, to the playing of the instruments, the brothers are blowing! On another note, to the message of the song... I have to choose. I'm not in a position financially to do everything. And by everything, I mean secure our today and tomorrow, so my focus is making we have a place to call home. Currently trying to refi so I can pay our home off and the property I bought beside us off in the next 10 years. At the same time, I'm trying to secure our retirement. I know tomorrow is not promised, but I willing to be we are going to see it and I want to be okay when we get there. At the same time I'm trying to start a small business, and if I don't make it to tomorrow, my wife and kids will hopefully have something from me to carry them through. I applaud the brothers that can do it all. I just don't like to see men like us cast away, because we can't. For the record, I know there are men that just don't want to provide, I ain't oneuhdem. One day, hopefully I will. Hopefully my wife knows why I do what I do without me having to worry about her friends or other people telling her she can do better. To be fair, she can... But if I'm being honest, I like the fact that we are building together. We both have a vested interest in this, so why not have both parties contribute, even if one can do it all? That allows for more financial growth, and possibly breaking some of the generational wealth gaps. Build an empire together that way you set the next generation. And yes, it's cool to live all while building, but we have to start building our net worth. Assets over liabilities is something I'm learning from and it's opened my eyes.
