My mom drove a 55 Packard Clipper 4 door sedan with torsion suspension. It was self leveling. She would roar down the street and fly over the intersections. We would be airborne in the back seat. We loved it. The car was Turquoise and white with white sidewalls and a whole lotta chrome! To think no seatbelts or car seats. She did get a speeding ticket or two. 😂

They were built expressly for the California Highway Patrol, who rejected them because of the slow acceleration of the Dynaflow. I’m thinking there was only one used in filming Highway Patrol, but maybe both will be seen together.

I'm amazed that the dispatcher knew the prison's number without having to google it (or call Information). Impressive. Is Judge Crossen being played by the same actor who played Sir Thomas McDonald in The Kennel Murder Case?

Did anyone notice Dan's pants were wet from the rain when he got out of the car, but they were completely dry when he went to the house to question the Regina Gleason character.

Mostly Fords in the RCMP back then and the officers had to maintain them almost beyond all belief.

same use as the word "over". it means I'm finished talking, now your turn. "over and out" means the end of the conversation.

I didn't recognize any of the actors names during the end credits; all good though. Hollywood must have apartment houses full of available actors. And Dan Mathews must have been the inspiration for 'Officer McGruff'. He could stop a criminal just with his gruff voice alone.

Once again, the criminals are driving a 4 door while the CHP drives 2 doors. LOL!

@Black Buick Except allow the installation of a crook-proof shield behind the driver. And 2 door cars make lousy taxi-cabs.
@chuckster36294 жыл бұрын
@Black Buick Only in the movies were crooks ever nice. Cops got killed frequently by arrestees they didn't handcuff.
