I watched Highway Patrol back in the fifties when they were new, and we kids just adored Broderick Crawford and his "twenty-one-fifty bye" and "ten-four" on his car radio! His Dan Matthews character on the show was so magnificent we didn't pay much attention to the other actors in the shows, LOL!

When I was a younger man, in the part of the country I lived, migrant workers would come up from Mexico to pick crops. Once in a while something similar.

Dang... Haven't seen this show in decades. I had forgotten how rapidly Broderick Crawford used to bark-out all his lines. He always made Jack Webb and Harry Morgan (on TV's DRAGNET) look like two cops on Valium.
