Thank you so much sir for videos, currently we are performing this test following ASTM D 7693 by UTM- DTS 30. We are getting values around 4000 to 5000 as an average of all pulses for VG 30 BC gradation.
@SatishIITR2 жыл бұрын
A value of 4000 - 5000 with VG 30 is a bit higher.

As per en 12697-26 how much peak load is required for resilient modulus?? Sir because in astm d 4123 clearly stated that 10 to 50% of ITS is required for Mr.

It is a normal UTM. But you need a zig for Resilient Moulus to conduct this test.

Sir, is the resilient modulus and dynamic elastic modulus same?

@SatishIITR11 ай бұрын
But there is no data extraction or calculations in this video. Where is the confusion?
@Ab0078311 ай бұрын
no sir i m not asking about the video. but when i try to put the data on offline filter software there were various graphs which were extracted from raw data..from those graphs certain values are to be taken. i was not able to understand how that offline filter works. @@SatishIITR

Dear Sir, First, thank you for your valuable time and effort in making such an excellent video. I doubt how the FWD back calculated elastic modulus values related to the laboratory-tested value. Will these values be the same or vary. I have FWD back calculated value for a particular homogeneous section. to know the laboratory value, I have collected core samples also. But I was unable to perform this test due to unavailability of equipment. can I use any co-relation to find MR value through any laboratorian test?
@SatishIITR9 ай бұрын
If you are talking of bituminous layers, there is a correlation between Mr and ITS as given in IRC 37, 2018. But this relation is very vague and does not give correct value. In the case of granular materials, determination of Mr. in laboratory is a tedious method and therefore, better to believe your back calculated values only. refer this paper also onlinepubs.trb.org/Onlinepubs/trr/1985/1022/1022-007.pdf

Sir, can we find resilient modulus for microsurfacing mix?
@SatishIITR2 жыл бұрын
Microsurfacing is not a structural layer. It is laid in a thickness of 8-10 mm to improve the riding when the road is otherwise sturcturally sound. So there is no need to determine Resilient Modulus of this layer. It is not considered in the design.
