You can tell there was a genuine affection between Michael Landon and Victor French. I think that's why this show was so popular. The lead characters really "meshed". I would really hate to see someone try to do a remake of this show. It just wouldn't be the same.

Michael Landon's character Johnathan always sounds so harsh to Mark. I didnt notice that when i was a kid back when it was originally on aired on tv. And my God..
