He lived 3 miles down the road from me in Boston Spa. Lovely chap. And yes, awfully, he went off the edge of a small cliff down by the riverbank testing out the off road segway. Fun fact: he made his millions, as the inventor of those steel mesh cages filled with stones you see holding up embankments on motorways. Got multi million (possibly billion) $$$ contracts with the American military so that they could use the cages to make temporary settlements in warzones. He ended up buying Segway when they were facing bankruptcy. Such an odd life some people live.

Considering James pioneered mocking the news he wasn’t afforded much reverence. The introduction from the mumbling irishman was piss poor.
