To be fair, your first issue isn't an issue with that keyboard. It's an issue with the layout of keyboard you chose. That problem will persist across every company making a 65% keyboard.

So, while this keyboard isn't inherently a bad keyboard, actually its quite good, the only issue with it is the price. $135 for a 65% with red switches and some nice looking yet mid quality keycaps is just far too much. You can make a much better keyboard or at least on par with it for around 70-80 dollars. So I'd say if you already bought it, don't sweat it or worry, its a fine keyboard but if you are considering buying it, just look into getting a gmmk 60% for around $60, buying some switches that you like, pre-lubed if, as Rikar mentioned in the video you don't want to lube them yourself, and a decent set of keycaps and you will have a keyboard that is much better for much less cost. (also if you are worried about it you don't really ever have to re-lube switches, if you did it yourself to begin with you may want to, but if you bough pre-lubed switches you can just forget about them)

I agree with you 100%, I think you’ll always save money building anything yourself. But for something you can just plug and go, not bad! Also the sales bring it down to $100 on most major holidays which is a big win

Yeah lots of keyboard snobs were really berating this company for their keyboards and the price, but they seem to skip over how the boards aren't bad at all, but I do see where they are coming from as at full price $135 is quite steep, but for $100 if you like how it looks (which how could you not) I'd say go for it. @@Rikar-

Thought about getting one of these 65% keyboards from highground but im so used to having a numpad lol. Is it easy and worth going from a fullsize to this ? Good quality video ! Thank you
@Rikar- Жыл бұрын
Yeah I wouldn’t worry about the number pad! Super easy, feels a little weird at first but simple switch!
@normantux2288 Жыл бұрын
If you use your PC as a console as in just for gaming, then yeah 65 is enough. If you have to study/work or do anything else you will hate that you have to press 3/4buttons at the same time, each time you have to do a simple shortcut. And this keyboard is just a GK65 with a better design and a higher price :)

Are you able to change the rgb through their software? There’s software that you can download on their website.

Yep you totally can! It’s all programmed into the actual board itself thi

@@Rikar- Ok thanks. I am thinking about buying one. Not sure if I want the standard or the performance. Can you make the Rgb move to the side when you are pushing keys? And are you able to change every individual key lighting like the apex 9?

@@KniteFighter I haven’t used performance yet but I’m sure it’s great, the RBG is very customizable so I’m sure you can

@@Rikar- Ok thanks for the information and one last thing. What’s a good wireless headset for pc? I’m looking to buy one but am unsure what is best.
@Rikar- Жыл бұрын
@@KniteFighter honestly wireless headsets are something I avoid, they have gotten better but over the years I’ve noticed they just don’t last as long as wired. And typically the audio is not as good (hard to tell if you aren’t picky) so I don’t really have a rec for that
