the animator for that is actually japanese, they've been doing animations in the mlp fandom for years

The MLP is very close to the original Higurashi OP. I think it's been made from scratch tho, not clipping from the original animation like Yu-Gi-Oh, Pooh and the rest

I'm gonna be honest here. When I first saw these parodies a long time ago, I was kinda annoyed back then for making the opening look weird but I am actually happy now that they exist. I feel that the franchise is somewhat underrated even though it's amazing.
