I'd imagine Jason actually avoiding killing children. Considering his death, and his mother's death, was at the hands of camp counselors, aka young adults, anyone he deems old enough to be one is on the list. Children are off the list unless they are in the way, like Tommy was with Trish in The Final Chapter, though I doubt he would have killed kid Tommy, the only aggressive action was bursting through the window and grabbing him.

You ever notice Jason has a magazine pouch in this movie? I always wondered why, and then I seen an interview with the writer and director, and they were asked if the rumor was true that Jason was supposed to have a gun in this movie, and they confirmed it was true. It was written in the script that the military would be doing training exercises, and Jason would take an UZI and ammo, and use it through the movie. At the lasts second they decided to switch to paintballers, but I guess they forgot to take the magazine pouch off of Jason, so he wears it through the entire movie. The guy playing Jason in the beginning plays him till the paintball scenes, then the studio seen the scenes and fired him for being too fat, and they still did not realize he was wearing a magazine pouch. Not sure how you notice details like Jason might be too fat, but don't notice that he has on a magazine pouch with no magazines.

It's time to end this crazy belief some have that Jason doesn't harm children. 1. Why is everyone ignoring the fact that Jason tried to kill Tommy in part 4. That alone proves your belief wrong. 2. Jason Goes To Hell! Near the end of the movie, the deputy who is possessed by the spirit of Jason tries to get reborn by physically taking over a babies body which would have meant death. Whether you like it or not that film is canon. 3. It's actually in the Simon Hawke Part VI novelisation, it describes Jason when he's in the kids cabin as seeing Nancy (the little girl) as a "shivering victim" and describes him imagining her blood flowing everywhere The only reason Jason doesn't kill her is because he hears car doors close outside. The novel very clearly describes him imagining butchering her, if the cops hadn't showed up then it's a certainty he would have done. So there are three good examples that show Jason would not spare chicken.

Part 6's kills suffered greatly from the MPAA. Couldnt get away wit what you could in the early 80's at about 86 when this dropped. Earlier entry kills showed more and we're gorier. Its a shame these kills were Brutallllll but they SUFFERED by the cuts by the MPAA That being said though. This is among the best of the series and may even be #1 As of rn: 1. Lives 2. Part 4 3. Part 3 4. Remake 5. Part 2 Though im a sucker for Part 7 too 🔥🔥🔥🔥
