I am a brother who lives in germany and I have genuinley encountered people who were very much islamaphobic, especially towards my mother. Once, when my parents came to my school for a reason which I dont really remember anymore, I think it was the day when parents wloud speak to the teachers about their child, either way, a woman parked awfully and probably deliberately so that my parents cloudnt find a parking spot, my father, which only spoke engelish and turkish, kindly requested her to just park her car better. She clearley undstood, but responded in german, pointing at my mother, forming circles around her face, and acting like she was taking a hoody off. She was saying that she wloudnt speak to my parents till my mother took of her hijaab. the conversation went on for a few minutes, with the woman coninuing in this awful behaviour. My father had enough and stepped out of the car. The woman was terrified, thinking that he wloud use force. He wloudnt have done that but islamaphobic people think we are savages, so she parked her car better and my parents cloud park. And, whenever my mother brought me to schol or back home, there wloud be people effectivelly driving illegally in order to annoy my mother, like driving slowly during a green light so that we had to wait another round, and not letting her drive before them although she had the right too. Truly shamefull that theese people cant even bring themselves to step out of the little safe space in their cars. Allah protect all our sisters from such shameles acts and from the evil people which act like they know the quran and force rules onto them which arent even in islam, laws which the prophet peace be upon him wloud outlaw without a second thought. Dont loose hope for they shall be judged and punishe before Allah at the end of time.

Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do.[24:30] And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity, and not to reveal their adornments1 except what normally appears.[24:31] If you ask me about why men not cover themselves then listen , men can't do that as they are in war in early ages and I know you would ask me about present time then listen again , Construction - 98 % men Fisherman - 91% men Farmers - 75% men Military - 85% men Roughneck - 96% men Fireman - 92% men Pilots - 90% men landscapers - 90% men Carpenters - 99% men Police - 83% men But all these men are raised by a woman, guided/helped/lifted by a mother a sister. Islam is the way of life.

Covering up is the sign of civilization. Pagan people in the early times walked almost naked, and as their intellect evolved pagans started embracing Islam and wearing clothes. What we, Muslims, are today and what we are wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that humans have achieved. And it is not regressive. It's the removal of clothes that is regressive and takes us back to ancient pagan times.

I remember how good I felt in hijab. I dress modestly now with oversized clothes feeling that maybe my environement isn't safe with the hijab. Yet the worst I've ever experienced had been out of it. There's dignity and power in hijab. I left the fold, made a mistake and now I'm eager to get back on my deen. I wasn't sure hijab was right for me as I'm old and grey. But I have the bigger picture now, I think. Thanks for this.

Hijab 🧕 is the opposite of the mini skirt and 👗 "modern dress". Especially for young girls or teens‼️ Who decides what is modern and liberal?! Maybe the Fashion World?! Or better the individual? Now we can discuss many many years what is a better option or way for the free and liberal woman or girl‼️

"Your hijab bother me while i'm watching you. Doesn't bother you" Then why are you watching her for then?? When i see this type of comments, it makes even more sense why this type of ppl exist. The truth always hurt, like we say here. It doesn't fit their lifestyle, so that's why they have to behave like this towards you sister. Stay strong in your faith, sisters. May Allah strengthen our faith so that we don't give up to those lost people, and perhaps they might find the path too at the end, by the will of Allah. Ameen :)

The Hijab distinguishes the believing woman from the disbelieving woman, the modest woman from the immodest woman, the virtuous woman from the unvirtuous woman, and protects the believing woman from the prying eyes of the lustful and disbelieving man. It baffles me why there is so much hatred against believing women who wear the hijab.

Hijab privatizes woman’s sexuality, doesn’t let people exploit woman’s body and profit from it, frees women from falling into societies unrealistic beauty standards, protects from men looking at woman’s body pervertedly, forces a man to look at a woman with respect rather than an object and forces people to judge women according to their skills and personality rather than looks. It also protects from sun exposure, unnecessary shampooing, ironing, blow drying hair each day and also hides double chin and pimples. Hijab also protects female psyche and finances. How much money, effort and nerves do women spend on makeup and chasing new fashion trends? How many women become depressed or go crazy because of the smallest flaws in their body? How many women get married just because of their looks, and then, when beauty fades over time, they become abandoned? Hijab solves all those issues. Society will make you feel ashamed of your body no matter how it looks like. Women should never feel the need to look pretty to people who don’t even care about them. Women got better things to do than worry about the way they look. It’s such a waste of energy and time.

Hijab was commanded by ALLAH, i want to share my dear sisters who lived among non muslim peoples to be patience for fulfilling ALLAH'S command for wearing HIJAB or covering their heads at least. islamophopia was existed nowadays, so that we must spread the reality of HIJAB and other islamic morals and beliefs to control those who spreads islamophobic.

CaptainPoseidon I am living in PakistAN and feels very possessive at times. We do not behave with the Christians here who are living in quite a number in Pakistani society. This Islamophobia is on increase bcs of tendency to live in those Rich European countries , I may be wrong but it might be a reason.

I live in USA for the first time ever after 9/11 we were out, this young man told my mom go back to your country. I said at least we still have a place to go to. What about you if you get to be kicked out where you going to go? Otherwise we never been bothered, but we did have a look from ignorant people. I don’t care we do what Allah told us to do.
