Samar Aafreen From what I understand Georgette has a bit more texture or weight to it so it is slightly less slippery. I think it is the opposite of what she said.

Hey love! I prefer wearing an undercap for every hijab fabric . But since jersey hijabs are Slightly heavier, they can stay in place even without one.
