I love to see how hijab transforms girls. It focuses the attention on their faces, which is the best expression of their personality. By covering other parts of the body it brings attention to what makes you a person and not an object of someone’s desires. It also brings respect. You can be sure people are not looking at you with undignified thoughts. I’m really sad to admit that a lot of women receive improper treatment, weird looks and undesired attention from undignified men. And hijab brings respect in that way.

Eu tenho um tecido aqui em casa e acabei de enrolar ele sobre minha cabeça como se fosse um hijab e me senti linda! Incrível como nossa beleza parece mais "nossa". Parece muito mais preservada e preciosa! Eu cresci na Congregação Cristã no Brasil, lá sempre usei véu nos cultos.
