Someone in his chat pointed out what's going on with the pieces and they're right. With this animation, when you pick up a piece they grow... But when you let go it doesn't shrink back down. So every piece he touches grows, and obviously his opponents pieces are always smaller because he doesn't pick them up

I love how @16:04 you blunder your queen and he makes a move not taking your queen then resigns the next move while your queen is still hanging to be blundered and to lose the game. I checked the chess engine at the same position just to see if I wasn't missing anything. It gave black mate in #14 or something and at depth 35 was -29.4. The opponent must have really thought the queen was untakeable or something.

You only need to check below the pieces how far they are away from the border of the squares and you instantly see that some are bigger than others.

the actual reason some pieces are bigger than other is because those pieces are left over from the previous game, you can see when he checkmates or gets checkmated, the remaining pieces are bigger in the next game. 22:18 here you can see, in the last game there was only a black and white king with a white pawn, now the next game, the h pawn and both kings are bigger than usual, you can also go around other games to see it. Now why does it happen, I have no idea.

The pawns are different sizes. I took a screenshot, when into photoshop and measured the pixels. It’s not an illusion, I thought it was at first, but nope. Just measure them in photoshop and you’ll see. There are bigger pawns and smaller ones.

At 2:47 the black bishops are bigger than the white. You can see this by looking at how much of the square is left between the top of them and the top of the square. the black ones have less space in the square at the top than the white do therefore they are bigger in size.

Just look at 4:59 (starting position). Black's e, d, c, b pawns are bigger (for white only the a pawn is bigger). Both black rooks are bigger, white's a rook is also bigger. Black's c bishop is bigger then the f one, queen and king are bigger. It's just so obvious. You can see the padding beneath some pieces is just way less because they are bigger and it has nothing to do with what piece is moved or even touched. I'd say it's pretty random

The pieces really are different sizes. If you look at the bottom of the board squares, you can notice extra space where the smaller pieces are compared to their bigger counterparts. What a weird way to make a game. Must be one hell of a bug.

The black pieces are definitely bigger, even pieces that haven’t been touched yet. Just look at the rooms on the white side and black side. It’s plainly visible to the eye.
