Right before my dad died this would play like nonstop on pandora; so much so that I wondered if he got tired of it. Now it reminds me of him. The words "let me face my fears" ran through my mind as I prepared the eulogy and even more so at his funeral because it's exactly how I felt. Now whenever I hear this song, all I can think of is how chill the days were with just the two of us driving down the freeway. This song has helped me decide to go out and actually try to do what I want with my life . I’m the oldest of 4 and have always looked after others before myself, anytime I wanted to live my life (even to this day) I feel this immense guilt like I’m abandoning them even though all of us are grown now. Single parent home, started working at 13 to help keep up with the bills first one to go to college EVER IN THE FAMILY etc….. I finally told all of them I want to move on and go teach in another country and try to make a life elsewhere . To my shock they were all completely supportive and are now trying to help me realize my goal. This song a few years ago was one of the things that inspired me to take that first step…..thank you

I’m a bit sad this song didn’t make it into Smash and songs from other Kingdom Hearts games instead of only KH1. I love Kingdom Hearts 1 music for sure but it would be nice to hear others in general. I would love Scala ad Caelum, Vector to the Heavens (1.5 Remix), Darkness of the Unknown, Link to All, Deep Drive, Sinister Shadows, Unbreakable Chains, Sinister Sundown, Simple and Clean (Ray of Hope), etc. I’m still very happy we’re getting our Keyblade wielder in Smash and we still get banging tracks, regardless. I didn’t like this song when KH3 first came out, just like I didn’t like KH3 in general at first. All those expectations, the weight of almost 20 years of storytelling, i hyped myself up so much that nothing could have satisfied me. Kh3 may be the most decisive game in the series ( maybe in gaming) but i love it. It tied up old loose ends amazingly and made new ones for us to chew on. Exactly what i wanted out of this game and with really fun combat and exploration again exactly what I wanted out of this game. I don't know what other people wanted out of this game but what ever it was its was too much to ask.
