Stalling the second last game is completely unnecessary since it’s theoretically impossible for Nihal to win 4 games in 2 minutes. That’s bad sport, and just tilts everybody. Have seen Hikaru do this in multiple similar situations and it’s just gotta stop.
@KrattarKrattar2 жыл бұрын
@@elyas4637 There’s nothing competitive with stalling with 5 point lead when there’s 2 minutes left. That’s bad sport. Do you see footballteams stalling with 5-0 on overtime? The answer is No. And there’s a reason for that. It’s bad sport because its unnecessary.

Hikaru had to use his "fullest" potential to get this result. Also, it disproves a myth that 30+ aged players are "gone cases" in bullet chess and that youngsters only have the speed in their brain. Hikaru was aged 35 at this point of time. One can see in the cameras that Hikaru had total grip (concentration) on chess board whereas Nihal's did not appear to be. It appeared to have had "no grip" at all. See the faces of both at any point of time, "how much" hikaru looks at the screen and how much nihal does.
