Hike to the top of Rainbow Falls - Gorges State Park, NC

In the fall of 2022, my wife and I booked a campsite at the new Gorges State Park campground in Sapphire, NC. Fall color was outrageous, so I used my GoPro to record the hike, and a bit of the drive in. If you are familiar with this area, the color above Rainbow up to Turtleback Falls was basically gone.

Great video. Love the color of the leaves. Next do a hike to turtleback & windy falls.

Thanks! We went up to Turtleback on this hike, but most of the leaves were gone so I didn't include it in the video and didn't bother going up to Drift Falls. Also been down to Stairway Falls a few times and to the top of Windy, but not to the bottom yet.
