Hike to Trift bridge | Is it worth it? | Switzerland pedestrian suspension bridge [watch in 4K]

Hi Alice & Bart, There are many suspension bridges in Switzerland - I think there is a webpage listing them all. You may want to visit others with easier access. For example, I had visitors from Singapore last week and we went to Saillon, the Farinet bridge. I do not remember Trift since I went before the bridge was built. But the hike to the Kuonen bridge in Randa is technically easy: a broad path in the forest. It will be physically demanding but not scary.

Hi Philippe, Thanks for your comment. The Kuonen Bridge looks really interesting, we’ve been to Zermatt a few years ago but didn’t know about it. We love to visit medieval villages, vineyards and castles. Saillon will be on our list to explore. Switzerland is a beautiful country and we’ll definitely visit again. Thankyou for filming this and putting it online. I wanted to go alone, but this is proof that it is too dangerous for me as a first-time solo traveler :P.

@@groeneijsthee10 Thank you for your comment. We think it’s always better to go with someone on any mountaineering trail. Anything can happen, regardless of the level of fitness so it’s good to have travelling companions to help each other out. Maybe you can find other less deserted and safer trails for solo travellers? And don’t forget to bring a first aid kit. We realised that we were not prepared at all. Anyway, happy travels!
