I am from Davenport Iowa and ride 365, no car ever. Specialized Rockhopper 29er 2015. Really enjoyed your video. I just subscribed, keep up the interesting outdoor experiences. See you on the trail!

Cool video - I grew up in Grinnell but moved away years ago. My in-laws live in Norway so occasionally I grind gravel when I'm back visiting. Can you post a gps route for your video? I'd love to recreate it sometime when I find myself in Benton Co.

Thanks! I didn't do any GPS since I grew up in the area, just sort of had a general plan and cruised around. Essentially it was La Porte to Garrision via random gravel roads, old creamery trail to Vinton. Cross the cedar river on highway 150 at Vinton, then north for a couple miles to E16 east. This turns into gravel and eventually winds around to turn into 30th Ave heading North. It will cross over highway 150 and then in about a mile will meet up with the cedar valley nature trail which will take you back to La Porte City. We detoured near Brandon and crossed back over the Cedar on the Benton Buchanan Rd to save time and to meet up with some family. Hope this helps and hope you get a chance to ride it sometime!

@@HikePaddleBike Sure does...never knew about the old creamery trail...and I've been south on the cedar valley trail from around where you got on it but never north. I've spent most of my time riding east of Amana instead. This will get me to go north some. Thanks for the direction suggestions!

but where would you find eggs big enough for a pan of that size?

Amazon. Both the shopping site and the rainforest I suppose.

Do you think Jeff Bezos will make me a giant mutant dinosaur-chicken egg if I ask him for it? Amazon didn't have to pay any federal income taxes in 2017, and it's worth over, uhh, what? A trillion dollars? He's got the money. I know he does. WHERE ARE MY SCALY BIRD EGGS, BEZOS????

Hey. Could I get some suggestions on bikes. In Iowa living in Ames and about to move to Ankeny and want to buy a bike to go trailing

I think your best bet is to check out a local bike shop and try out a bunch of different stuff, there are thousands of options ;) I think most bikes are pretty good these days so I don't think you can go wrong! Good luck!
