Hikes returns to McAllen Texas!! Last year I recorded Hikes at The James Nikki Rowe Hall VFW, along with Dezorah, who in turned recorded their live video, Claridad. This time the band returns with Claire Puckett at The Yerberia Cultura.

i love the drumming so much in the song "Onset". Even watching him play and seeing how he stalls a stick in the air sometimes you can tell how he's subdividing counts with how he moves.

As a drummer I too love his playing style! It’s very unique and different. I almost want to play like him, but not the point where I’d sound just like him. I’d like to have my own style first.

The second concert I watch from beggining to end waiting to see if they play Tatoo, and they didn't (ToT). Great gigs, though. Love this band
