A real Bluebird day to be enjoying the outdoors with mates. Great scenery with a mix of terrain, and that swimming hole was just spectacular and inviting with clear mountain water trickling thru it

Well done on climbing it! I've climbed up to the top twice myself many years ago. I tried it again in September this year (during that heatwave) and failed about 30 minutes from the top, not because of the heat, but because of my lack of fitness and also needing to get back down to Brodick for the last ferry (Due to a couple of issues on the way down, I still missed it). I will soon have a video about it in the next few days. Again, well done on the climb up, it's one of my favourite views up there! Your route down to Glen Rosa was the same as a route I had planned to do too. It was hilarious your friend left his phone in his pocket! 😂 I know it was probably gutting for him if it wasn't waterproof though. Great video! You've earned a subscriber!

Great film. I've always done it the other way. Up Glen Rosa then up the ridge you climbed down. A bit easier I think.

Looks awesome! How long did the entire hike take to get up Goatfell, scramble across to North goatfell and reach glen rosa?

I think it was around 5 to 6 hours of walking but we had a lot of stops and a swim so just over 8 hours in total

When my cousin and I did Goatfell, it was a rainy misty day and you couldn't really see much in front of you or around you. We got to the top and he wrapped himself up in my tarp and smoked a cigarette and I did a shit right at the top of Goatfell. I probably wouldn't have done it in weather like this. I remember hearing voices and being like "OH GOD.. I'm literally doing a shit and people are going to come by", but I finished and sorted myself out right in the nick of time.
