I can`t believe you were recently in Teresopolis! If I kwew, I would have tried to stop by and say hi and meet you in person. I`m a fan of your work for a while now. The mountain region of Rio de Janeiro is just amazing. I no longer live in Rio, but whenever I have the chance, I travel to Teresopolis. It`s such an amazing place, extremely blessed and beautiful. Petropolis also. Thank you for giving us such an amazing view of the region. I`m missing it already!

Beautiful region but very challenging to hike and navigate. The mountains are not super high but very rocky, steep and covered by super-dense tropical vegetation. I walked a tiny trail a bit south in the same range in the SP state and it was quite an effort.

Eu moro próximo ao Bonfim, à 15 minutos de distância até a entrada da trilha. É muito bom poder desfrutar dessa paisagem do minuto 1:16 e comer a comida feita a lenha do restaurante Tourinho aos finais de semana. Muitos pensam que o Rio de Janeiro é apenas a região da capital, porém existem lugares extremamente lindos na serra no interior do estado, e além de lindo, é muito seguro com custos de vida acessíveis !
