What month was this my friend? Do you need special clothing and garment for entering?

hi we went around mid January. winter hiking clothes are needed as the temperature is expected to be near 0 degrees or below. also it depends on the snow depth of the year, we only use basic crampons because we assumed that the path will be walked by others as well. I may recommend bringing snow shoes.

There is no reservation to enter Kamikochi during winter. Please keep in mind that it is of your own risk and no one can help you if something happened inside. Please be prepared for winter hiking gear. You can write your itinerary at the gate before entering. please subscribe!
