💚 A spectacular hiking route with snow to the second highest peak in Madrid at 2,381 meters. Today you will visit the Cabeza de Hierro Mayor
We begin our adventure on the outskirts of the city, to enter the beautiful snowy landscape.
This route begins in the Puerto de Navacerrada, where along the way you will enjoy spectacular views of the mountains and the snow-covered Sierra de Guadarrama.
The route takes us through one of the most emblematic mountains that Madrid has, and up to the Famous Ball of the World, where I will make the first stop.
As I ascend, I encounter an incredible amount of snow. At some points, the snow is knee-deep, making the hike even more exciting but also more difficult.
Finally, after about 5 hours, I reach the top of the second highest mountain in Madrid, La Cabeza de Hierro Mayor where I am rewarded with impressive panoramic views. From the top, I can see the beautiful snowy landscape of Madrid stretching all around me
