Thank you! You should it's good fun but start slow and condition your hands by doing a bit at a time to avoid blisters. Elder on clematis or ivy or willow are good combos

That was bit of a fire risk

I was very careful with it and considered how to make it as safe as possible. I Scraped the ground to bare earth below the fire pit and around it, moving leaves etc. The fire pit itself is raised. I located it in an area well away from trees and overhanging branches, never leaving it unattended and stayed with it until it had gone out and had a bucket of water to hand. I then mixed the ashes with water to ensure everything was out at the end of the day. Thanks for watching, atb Tom
