SUPER helpful vid this time man thank you! Had been eyeing this one as a potential hike-to-fish to do with my 11 year old but I was not interested in dealing with looking for bears. Plus those fish are really bad off.. wonder why that is- there doesn't seem to be a shortage of bugs in everyone's Gilbert videos 🙂

Yeah I was surprised how skinny they looked. I had seen other pictures and reports of that lake being better. Could be better fish can be found deeper.

THese lakes were frozen over still very late in the season.
