Hiking California // Joseph Grant County Park

My girlfriend and I hiked the Yerba Buena and Halls Valley trail in the gorgeous and underappreciated Joseph Grant County park in the east bay of California in the early part of February. We were fortunate enough to have cool temperatures with splendid views of the bay amongst the beautiful rolling hills at sunrise. We were able to see white tailed kite, acorn wood peckers, lesser goldfinch, scrub jay, California quail and even a pair of bald eagle. Also able to see some ground squirrel and several deer. Couldnt of asked for a better day.
