Oh no! Ughh really sucks that you dropped the lens. We lost a phone like that hiking in Puerto Rico...except it dropped in a river and sat there for 10 minutes before we realized. Hopefully the lens can be repaired. The hike looks so peaceful, even with the rain. The views at the top are just stunning, nothing like doing a long hike only to be greeted with views like that!

Wow that hike is so cool! I was surprised to see the blue skies and beautiful weather when you reached the top because the hike looked pretty dreary. Gorgeous view up there 😍

Wow, a great hike in challenging weather, so pleased it cleared for you at the top, well deserved! We discovered a few survey markers when we were at Zion National Park, our equivalent in the UK are trig points! Great stuff😎👍

That was a tough one , the weather didn't cooperate , if you brought a rain jacket, it wouldn't have rained lol . The cameras take a beating out there. Congratulations on your first 46er.
@LincolnintheAdirondacks4 жыл бұрын
haha you know the funny thing is, we parked the car and I thought about taking my rain jacket. Holly looked at the forecast and it said it was just a 30% chance of rain LOL So I didn't take it

Hi Kenny, I'm actually back in the ADKs right now! Haha I've got another High Peak under my belt that I'll have a video on. We hiked Phelps Mountain. The final mile of the hike was TOUGH...but very fun! The views aren't as great as Cascade, but still nice none the less. It was pretty cloudy and windy when we hiked too, so that def impacted the view. We hiked Ampersand Mountain this week as well, which is near Saranac Lake. I would 100% recommend you to hike Ampersand. It's around a 4.5-5 mile hike and is very strenuous.The terrain is very challenging. But once you get to the top, you're rewarded with a jaw dropping 360 degree view. It's really something incredible. I've posted a photo of me at the summit on instagram, if you want to check that out: instagram.com/riddle_lincoln/ I will def be doing Ampersand again the next time I'm up here. It's a fun hike with an amazing payoff.

My heart sank when you dropped the camera lens😩 Really liked all the different camera angles (you had to have been nervous setting the camera down sometimes, though!)😅 Such a peaceful walk. Brad absolutely loves going on walks like this. I would probably do what Holly did and tell Brad to proceed to the summit without me😂 But wow that's a gorgeous view! Glad you both made it back down in one piece. What's the status on your camera?📸

When hiking on a ninety-degree day, a single water-bottle, and scorching sun, with dying trees providing little comfort, I beg for rain. Certainly keeps trail usage to a minimum.

Nice Job Lincoln! Hope you can check out some of our videos when you get a chance! We're a new channel and need all the help we can get! OMG you drop your camera lens so intense! Then your friend hit her head! It's also just raining! Must have been so stressful! So nice to see all the closeups of the mushrooms and small greenery! So sad it's all raining and wet! OMG getting to the very tippy top was so hard! I don't think we could ever accomplish it! Stunning views though. At least you had some calmness before it began raining again! Oh no, your camera stopped working :(. Thanks for sharing this hidden gem!
