Wow! How did KZbin not put you in my feed before now? I use walking and hiking videos to get my 10,000 steps in everyday and I totally love this. Thank you 😊

Thank you so much for this!!! My dad and I hiked this years back. Hard to travel there now, so glad I can see this trail again!!❤

Love this! While I originally was hoping for non-stop walking (for "immersion'' as I walk on a treadmill haha) I really do appreciate that you stopped to take a look at some of the beautiful nature highlights throughout the video. I would've wanted to stop by and look at the flowers, the river, etc just like you did here. Thank you so much for sharing and looking forward to more!!

Nicely done! Appreciate the "just nature" approach you took.

Absolutely loved this. Thank you so much for the indexing. Went back to re-watch some sections. Hiked up as far as High Bridge years ago (before the fire) and wanted to see Tunnel Falls (Did not know about Twister - gorgeous). Also wanted to see how much damage was done by the fire. Only suggestion would be to raise the camera a little. When I am hiking I have to watch the path closely in front of me for my feet but when you are doing the footwork I would rather see more scenery ahead. There were of course cases on this walk where the scenery was below the trail. I appreciated the stops to show something in more detail, like the flowers. Kind of missed seeing the East waterfall - thought you would turn back to look at it after you crossed the dicey creek. Will look for more of these!

Thanks for the kind words! And absolutely recommend going all the way to Twister if you ever get the chance. This was actually one of the first videos I ever shot, & there's so many 'ugh, I wish I had done this or that part differently' moments (well... with my newer vids too, but * definitely * here). Over time I'd like to think (or hope) I improved things like camera positioning, not skipping over interesting scenery, letting the camera linger over certain shots, etc. - especially on my latest ones, but I always always always want to improve more. Very much appreciate the feedback!

if you're lucky, maybe someday you'll land some Sasquatch footage. ;)

Thank you for the virtual walk through this beautiful place! The quality is quite good, but there is not enough stabilization here.

I really like these videos and also want to be able to make videos like this. Can you tell me what equipment you use for filming?
@ExciteHike7 ай бұрын
Hey thanks! I use a GoPro 10, but honestly it's probably overkill & I found out it has issues recording in low light & the mic is over-sensitive. Almost any modern smartphone might work just as well - video stabilization is surprisingly decent, etc... as long as you don't mind not being able to use the phone for other things + battery drain.

Most dangerous trail . . . Huh! I've hiked Eagle Creek trail three times, twice doing the whole 13 miles. It's high in places, but I've been on more dangerous ones. Still, it's a great hike!

Found your channel this morning. Good stuff. Keep it up. I think you should do Humbug next. Natural Bridges would be a good one, too.

It's just a GoPro (I have the 10), but I'd love to invest in a more professional setup someday.
