Hiking from CRACKINGTON HAVEN to BOSCASTLE - SW Coast Path National Trail - Cornwall

Join us as we continue our 630 mile hike of the South West Coast Path National Trail in England. In August 2023 we spent another week in Cornwall, with the aim of completing further stages of this amazing route. In this vlog, we start the day with the aim of hiking from Crackington Haven to Tintagel, however, as will become apparent, just making it to Boscastle was going to be a challenge alone!
We plan to complete the entire route over coming months between work and everyday life, plus for logistical reasons, we may complete different stages of the route and fill in the gaps as we go along! We’ll share the entire route, interesting points of interest, plus if we feel it appropriate, we’ll also point out recommended accommodations and places to eat!

We done apart of that walk when we stayed at Trewethett Farm Club Campsite and I agree, a Cornish mile is at least 5 mile long😆

Lovely walk but we did Trewethett Farm Cub site to Boscastle return and that was a real stretch in 2020. We couldn’t do the same to Tintagel, it beat us so we took the car 😉😃👍🏻 Trev

The famous Cornish Mile lol. We have routes here that are shorter o the way back according to the signs, 6 miles there 4 miles back. Guess they use the same sign makers lol

What can I say, brilliant walk, the tea shop with the crooked roof does some good food as well as the NT centre, I’ve used both
