Hiking in Prokletije - Views on Karanfili Peaks

Hiking in Prokletije or the Accursed mountains is one of the best in Montenegro. Relatively unknown, but the views rival the European Alps. This vlog is about hiking Mt Volušnica and Mt Taljanka. Both peaks offer unrivalled views on Karanfili group, some of the most photogenic mountains of Montenegro. Before the hike, we also captured amazing sunrise in Grebaje valley...

Amazing, thanks for posting this! I am heading to the area in a week or so, and plan on doing this Hike as well as Durmitor (Bobotov Kuk). Which would you recommend doing first? Maybe Bobotov since this one has better views? Cheers!

I think it all depends on your logistics. How do you arrive and where do you go next. Both hikes are amazing - Bobotov Kuk also has great views. But try to do it for sunrise as later it gets crowded. Here is my blog post from Bobotov Kuk, lukaesenko.com/climbing-bobotov-kuk/ If time allows, add Mt Prutaš - it is only 1,5h and it offers great sunset views on Bobotov Kuk itself.
