Congratulations Keith & Yuki on 10 Years together, what a great duo you both are. Also wishing you both all the very best future in 2023 and lots of memorable Biking and camping opportunities. What brand of tent did you buy Keith, yeah looks a lot sturdier than that last one, how you managed to keep that one going in the last video is beyond me lol.

Thanks very much. The tent is Nordisk Otra 2 which we got "as new" second hand. In a way it's slightly idiotic and so there is a small chance we will sell it again, depending on next spring and summer tours. Without the extra groundsheet it weigh 3.8kg! Our winter Winter tenant is 2.8kg. It's the size of of standard 3 person tent, so very specious; and is almost twice as waterproof. So we will see. We will leave for our winter tour in a couple of days!

@@davidjohnston1374 Inner is mesh so it would be too cold for winter. We will visit countless islands off the north west coast of Kyushu and end up at the Goto islands visiting some for the first time and others for the second. We have bumped up from the usual two weeks to three this year.

@@waddo I guess so and i told my luvly wife there's no point in divorcing me cos you"ll only get half of a half of a half of what I still got. My marriage saving hint is: Whenever we have a difference of opinion, disagreement or argument I always have the last words being "Yes, dear" :)

Japanese got many good 2nd hand store outlets, and most of the outdoor items are in mint condition. I grabbed many of my henro-ing items there during my months long pilgrimage there.

These days the best second hand stuff comes from online Yahoo Auctions and Mercari marketplace. Of course you need to read and write Japanese to use them. Our two "new" winter sleeping bags came from Mercari and are literally like new. Rated to -10c we are now snug as bug . . .

Thanks and it's beside Keikyuaburatsuboonsen Camp Park; but even knowing that the track is hard to find. I think there were only 3 or 4 people there that time. We'll return during the winter when it will be completely deserted again.
