Congratulations guys, that was amazing! As I will never get to do this, it was great to Mount Fuji through your eyes. Well done ladies! You rock! Thank you 🙏

What an amazing hike and video! Thanks for sharing. When I saw you pumping, it reminded me of when I was nursing my daughter. Nursing zapped my energy . I don't think I would have been able to do a hike like that while nursing. I was 41 years old at the time, though. You are a great mom, and you all are a wonderful couple. Take care.

Oh wow thanks for the kind comment!! Nursing definitely can be tiring, but maybe the adrenaline of hiking Mt Fuji kicked in! lol 😊

Thank you for sharing your climb up Mt. Fuji! I am visiting relatives in Tokyo now and was thinking of you when I passed Yokosuka the other day on my way to Koajiro Forest and Jogashima Island. I couldn't see Mt. Fuji from Jogashima and now I know why: You needed the clouds as heat protection.

Enjoy your time! Yes, sometimes it tough to get a view. Hopefully you get a clear day and can see Fuji sometime!

18:36- Could that be considered the ultimate pic of a sunrise taken from high on the slopes of the Land of the Rising Sun's most [literally] iconic Fuji San? Truly that's a fantastic shot capturing the sky, clouds,slopes, plains all being beautifully illuminated by el sol and I definitely think one of the best rewards possible for all the efforts, struggles and strategies the four of you put forth to make this happen! Truly, this shot alone would be worth turning into a large poster photograph and/or inspiring paintings to encourage your little ones to one day follow in having climbed such steep footsteps! Fantastic job and THANKS SO MUCH for bringing us along! EXCELLENT JOB!

Congrats! I climbed Mt. Fuji many years ago while still a student, along with a friend who already climbed it once, but wanted to try again from the very bottom at a railway station instead of the 5th station. Beautiful jungle-like part up to the 5th station level, then moonscape. Will always remember the journey, but I think one epic time is enough for me 🙂 The mountains nearer to Fuji are wonderful as well, easier, and mostly free of tourists if you want to get some wonderful views of the main mountain.

Ohh, I love this episode. My favorite TV show was 'Iron Summit' on Paramount+, where the German Bachelor climbed Mount Everest without any hiking knowledge. This episode reminds me of that. I bet you two could do it too.

When I lived in Japan I hiked up Mt. Fuji once. We started at the 5th station at 9 pm and got to the top at 4 am, just as the sun was rising. I heard that is no longer an option. Coming down definitely gave me what the Japanese people call "laughing knees", as my muscles were shaking uncontrollably.

vending machine on top of a mountain feels like you are in final fantasy 7 (video game) PS: i notice there is no snow at all , unlike what we see in the pictures
@OurStorytoTell2 ай бұрын
The vending machines were kind of surreal! At this time of the year all the snow melts off, but in just a few months it will be covered again! It’s definitely more picturesque in the winter months.
