Hiking Near Sacramento: Homestead - Blue Ridge Trail - Sacramento Living Vlog

Looking for a great hiking trail near Sacramento? Homestead to Blue Ridge Loop is a 5.1 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Winters, California that features a lake and is rated as difficult. It's about an hour driving distance from Downtown Sacramento. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips, and bird watching and is accessible year-round. After heavy rains, portions of the trail near the stream may be closed. Beautiful hike, with views of Sacramento Valley, Lake Berryessa, and wildflowers along the way.

From the east bay originally, Sacramento is definitely nice. We need a solution for our homeless situation though. The trash all around beautiful spots pisses me off

I love point Reyes this year I went to Yosemite and did a 7mile hike it was worth it and beautiful

Hi Johnny B. hmm thats a good question. Depending on which side you go up but if you go up (go right) like how we did in this video it was about 25 minute hike to the top.
